Sandakan – Selingan Island
Meals: Lunch & Dinner
- Pickup from Sandakan airport or your hotel (Sandakan area), then registration at the Sabah Parks jetty
- Boat to Selingan Island, about 1 hour depending on the sea
- Check in at the chalet, then lunch at the Selingan cafeteria
- Free afternoon: swim, snorkel or relax on the white sand beach
- The beach closes to visitors while park rangers watch for turtles coming ashore
- After dinner, on the rangers' signal, watch a turtle lay her eggs, the eggs moved to the hatchery and baby turtles released to the sea
- Overnight in your chalet
